Thread: iPad 2?!

is there an iPad 2 going yo be realeased from apple next year? will there be any new features with it? e.g. camera.. ect

i'm going to say yes but wrong section

Apple will release new models next year however no one will know the features until the actual release date because that is the way Apple is not even resellers or apple store employees will know
There are several rumor sites and we I am sure will have the latest rumors in our forums so hope that helps

Every year a new revision is released.

Even though this is an Apple iPad forum, we are not associated with the Apple company in any way. Anything anyone here tells you about a new iPad or features of the new iOS would be a WAG at best!

So we can say with incomplete confidence that the iPad 2 will release next week and will feature:

iOS 5.0
Quad Core processor
8GB of RAM for the apps and OS to run multitasking
2Terrabytes of Storage
Front, back and side cameras, all will be 24 megapixel
1080p Video at 60 fps
WiFi and 4G networking
72 hour battery with heavy use
Weigh a mere 8 ounces
12" 3D display

And a few things people won't expect (lol):

It will run the Anderoid OS in a Virtual machine, plus OS X, Ubuntu Linux and Windows 98SE.

If I am right about any of this I will be more surprised than anyone

I think:
- A bump in speed.
- Possibly dual core?
- A bump in capacity and certainly memory.
- A front-facing Facetime camera.
- Keep the same resolution, but support the full retina app resolution at full screen.
- A much improved file transfer function in iTunes, and the ability to move files between apps instead of just making a copy. Maybe a general documents storage area?
- ...and just because Apple likes to always surprise us: maybe some type of low-power sunlight readable mode similar to e-ink without sacrificing the default screen quality.
