My iPad no longer shows how long it has been since the last time it was fully charged. Apple says that "Usage times will be shown after iPad is fully charged", but I have run the battery through two complete cycles of full charge to full discharge with no change, Usage and Standby still show dashes instead of times. Complete restarting iPad does not correct either. Any ideas on how to get Battery Usage reporting to work again?

Turning off or restarting the iPad is what clears it. The iPad must remain on after a full recharge for that field to show anything.

Turning on or off the iPad normally should not affect the times, however if you reset or respring the device the timers cannot be used until the next full charge cycle.

How (precisely) do you turn your iPad on and off and how do you restart it?
