Question about transferring photos from Ipad to PC

    Hi! ^^

First of all, I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! ^^ hehe! I hope this new 2013 will bring us all only
    happiness, health, love and success.

Now about my question. I have a problem.. I have almost 40,000 photos in my Camera Roll on my Ipad ("The New Ipad" or Ipad 3rd Generation) that I downloaded from everywhere mostly tumblr and weheartit..
I downloaded all these pictures in half a year or so. I had to delete ALL of my apps just to make more free space for pictures lol Now I have ZERO free space.
I really, really NEED to transfer all of these 37 thousand photos to a computer but I cannot do it!
Neither my PC nor my laptop would recognize the device as a "camera" like Apple tells us, I have read much and tried EVERYTHING on google so that I could access my photos from a computer but my PC would not show the pictures! There IS an Ipad or something Icon in "My Computer" but when I open it there's nothing in there. It's absolutely empty.
No matter what I try that Apple tells me it won't work!

I know there are some programs that can help me but I tried downloading them from various sites and they were all not working, I mean I couldn't install them or if I did install them they wouldn't run correctly..
So now Im going to actually buy a program for Transfering photos from Ipad to PC!
And I want to ask you which program DOES work and you have used and was actually helpful! And where can I buy it?
I will be sososososo, SO THANKFUL to whoever can help me out with this! I really want to save all my pictures on a PC but delete them from my Ipad, because I need free space, I need my apps..

Thank you so much in advance! I really hope that someone will help me solve this issue.

P.S. Sorry for my bad English.. Hehe! I'm really stunned how could Apple create such a Perfect device, it's like a jewel, but then again something SO simple like transfering pictures from your Ipad to a PC has to be so HARD Why didn't they think about this?

I can only tell you at this point what SHOULD work. In Windows Explorer, find your iPad then right click on it and select "Transfer Pictures". Then sit back and wait.

It SHOULD be as simple as that. Give that a try and see how you get on.

Edit: the path to your photos should be iPad/Internal Storage/DCIM. (There's that "should"word again.)

Here is another suggestion: get the app Photo Transfer App. It will allow you to transfer photos from your iPad to a PC via wifi using a web interface on the PC side. This is my go-to app when I cannot use the method suggested above.

The app is available for iOS devices and there is a Mac version. For PCs, it accesses the iOS device via web browser. Just follow the instructions on your is device, it steps you through it.

If you are an Apple user, there is a good chance that you are dependent upon one or more of these devices, that you carry it with you everywhere, and that you keep the vast majority of your media files on it. In fact, in today's increasingly digital world, many people have the entirety of their music, photo and video collections on iDevices and computers only.

Sometimes my WinXP PC won't recognize my iPad or iPhone when I connect them and want to transfer pictures. iTunes detects either device and is just fine. I found that starting iTunes first and then plugging the iPad in will cause the Windows picture transfer wizard to pop up and detect the iPad as a camera. Then I can get it to copy all of the pictures.

go to your app store. on your account in the app store, all of your download apps should be there. you can than delete all of your apps making room for your pictures. you will know you have your apps. than until you find out how to transfer your music, atleast you know all your files are safe. good luck.
