Big Business - game discussion

Aargh, this new delay in demolishing buildings is chronic. It looks like it takes half the time to demolish as it takes to constuct the building. Example, hot dog stand takes two minutes to build, one minute to demolish, newsstand 30 minutes to build, 15 minutes to demolish. Is it going to take 10 hours to demolish a baseball court, i dont want to demolish one to find out.

Has anyone else finished the valentines post office and started the shop? I'm getting the first name as Mike but there are no Mikes to trade with...is this a glitch? Anyone else have this problem?

I have not, but I know what it is. A software bug. Instead of printing out the character string they printed out the variable used to reference the string. It just goes to show you that they are code hackers that don't even test their work before releasing it to us all.

Thanks for your imput. But I'm having trouble getting rid of Mike....there is no one to exchange with to get the heart. I finished the post office hours ago. So now I'm just wasting time because of this problem. I sent in a ticket so it is just a waiting game now. I probably won't have the time to finish this now. :(

Yeah Mike is a bust I think. Maybe useful in the 3rd task? I believe the formula is: Alex to Emma; Emma to John and then John to Kate. Be careful not to go from Kate to Alex...Kate should lead to a heart not a person!!
Just wait a bit and a new heart with a person that matters (not Mike) will pop up. Restarting the game might help, not sure if that really worked or if time was the solution.

I saw the mike. From what you guys said, I refused him. Mike is probably a spoiler and not a bug. Looks like the hearts are harder. If you have him why do you want to be rid of him? Just keep him in inventory. Maybe later he is valuable. BTW I am below 71k going for zero pop.

Thanks! Woodshop just showed up for me today but was on the blog like a week ago. Maybe they just don't offer to everyone at the same time.

Yeah, I got the "lonely" Mike as well. Restarting fixed it for me. Now whenever I see Mike I just restart the app and he goes away. I'm assuming he's for the third part of the quest.
