I think GI need to realise that a lot of people playing these games are adults (with jobs) and that we can't dedicate 12-16 hours a day to these tasks... so just because their lead coder takes out a calculator and punches in some numbers that show completing a quest will take six days, they need to take into account that people are not glued to their games 24/7. I just find their quests nonsensical.

It's frustrating. I just hope that the quests stay the same for next year so I can at least complete them. If I'm still hooked on the game lol! I've been keeping my annoyingly placed ice fortress just in case.

I don't bother with the "special" quests anymore. They are design for one thing only, that is to get you to spend city credits so you can complete before time runs out.

I am enjoying the Eiffel Tower, at my leisure.

They will probably screw this one up too at some point. I didn't even make it to the valentine hotel.

Hey people ! I've made an observation over the last few quests. you know how they have multiple collections, like 10 granites and 12 beams? Well I noticed that if you do them in parallel it goes faster. If you do one at a time and have the item lopsided that the probability goes down finding the needed items. Does anyone feel the same way. I will tell you why in a later post after I hear any similar feelings.

I figured out a special achievement....first class builder is having one of every (not special buildings you buy with dollars though) entertainment building in your city.

Ok first thing is I am under 61k pop now. Because of the advance notice of what was coming I produced all my granite. So when I needed the beams, I would go days without a single one. I struggled to get one here and there. Then one day I was fast fingering in the zone, and accidentally sold all my granite by accident. Then it seamed the dam broke and I was getting 3beams a day. And this last quest with the tower, 30 books and 1500 energy, I held off collecting energy for the valentine project. I have 8 book stores and was not getting any books, maybe 1 every other day, now that the valentine thing is over I started gathering the 1500 energy. Low and behold I'm getting books in fact I finished up in two days.

Among the best is placing in the top 100 in the daily production contest. The other is placing first in one of those.
