To be more specific, I'm trying to collect the ingredients. I have the first one, just can't find the others. Help!

I have just started playing this game and am on year 1. I have come across a few blue chests now that I can't open. Can you tell me what I am supposed to do?

This is a game that is meant to be played at least twice. First time is called story mode, this unlocks and teaches new spells, it also collects red blocks and character cards, which can be purchased in the Wesley's shop (down the stairs and around the corner nearest the 1st year door)
The second time around you can play 'freely' which allows access to the range of characters that is unlocked. To be effective you need at least one ghost, dark arts, pet, strong, parsletongue and goblin character (think that's all) to reach everything.

For the chests you need a variety of spells (mainly aloehemora, sometimes wingardiun leviosa etc) so no need to do anything. Everything you need for story progression will be available to you in the story mode, if you get stuck, search through this topic and if you can't find what you need, take a screen cap, ask nicely and someone should be able to help you

Have you tried casting reducto? Draw straight lines around madly and break everything up, you may have to transform a platform or something. If that doesn't help try posting a screen cap

So glad I found this forum. It's tough to find iPad relevant info for this game
I'm looking for 2 things.
1. Who is the first dark wizard that you can get?
2. Where can I find them.
I have looked all over but have only found voldemorts ghost and he needs 1.5 million studs to activate.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think it's Tom Riddle, and he should be unlocked after during the second year. I think you may have to purchase him at the shop though.

EDIT: maybe wait until you have a red brick multiplier active and boost your stud count?

Hi, I'm new to this sit so forgive me if I'm posting in the wrong place. Im on level four of Lego Harry Potter for iPad. I'm on The First Task and I need to know where to find the red potion ingredient for the potion. (on the rooftops) Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
