    Problem downloading to ibooks

    I am trying to download a sample of a book. I did exactly what the apple IPad2 instructions said below.
    When I try to change books from "off" to "on" it jumps right back to "off". I am signed in since it is showing my apple ID. Where do I go from here? Thanks in advance.
    1. Tap Settings > Store on your device.
    2. Tap Sign In if you're not already signed in to the iTunes Store.
    3. Enter your Apple ID and password.
    4. Tap On/Off switch to enable or disable Automatic Downloads for each content type.

    That is really strange, Willy. Sometimes when strange things happen, the best thing to do is close your ibook app down. See below, if closing the app doesn't work, you may want to try restarting your ipad. See if this helps.

    Force the app to quit by pushing the home button twice to bring up your multi-task bar. This will show all the apps that you have visited. By long pressing the app in question, it will begin to jiggle-press the red circle with the negative sign on the app. It will only quit the app and not delete. Than try to re-open the app and test out.

    If that doesn't work, restart the iPad by pressing the power switch down to power off.

    We had a similar problem with iBooks where it would not download a Sample. It would download a Free Book. We found out that deleting the Acrobat Reader app took care of the problem. I don't know if other apps cause the same conflict.
