About LinkBacksI was in the process of updating my ipad2 software to 4.3.3 when my computer locked up.... now my ipad2 is just sitting at a black screen with an apple in the middle of it and a loading bar underneath that is empty. I can't seem to power off the device or get the installation to continue.
Any help is appreciated.

I figured it out, I held the power and the home button at the same time and apparently booted into a recovery mode. then I restarted itunes and restored and updated from there.

I guess the OP must be someone with their blobs to be able to update to 4.3.3...

That's right! Apple isn't signing that anymore ~ you can only update to 4.3.5.
