    Save web-pages as (pdf) file.

Question: I'm using the Safari browser on my iPad, at some moment I really like a web-site and I want to convert it into a PDF file so that I can stored it and/or send it to somebody else. How is this possible from the iPad? Any ideas?

I don't want to send the URL because with dynamic pages the content of the site is not always the same anymore. I want to have a identical copy of the web-site into a PDF file.

    Thanks.

You could take a screen shot of the web page and send it.

Could be an alternative, but then I do not have the entire web-page. Only the part that is visible on the screen. So it is not ideal.

And how can I make a screen dump?

Hold down the Home button and then the Sleep/Wake button (in that order!) and you will hear a sound like a camera shutter and that will save the screen shot in a folder called Saved Photod in your Photos app.

Once its there, you can tap the icon between Slideshow and the trashcan and you can email it, but you have to set up an email account on your iPad first!

Some web pages you can COPY and paste it into a normal iPad email. If you have the right kind of web page the graphics go into the email too.

If that doesn't work try pasting it into Gmail using the web interface.

It will not work pasting into PAGES.

If you have a MAC and OS X just PRINT the web page to a PDF.

Good suggestion, but I've to create a Evernot account, store information in the cloud. Another one that needs to be managed.

I rather have something like e-mail pdf in safari or use another browser that has this feature build in.

I use an App called WebToolBox+ which saves a webpage to a pdf file and displays it in safari. Then I go to the http address line and insert a g in front of http and the PDF file is opened in goodreader.

    Does t his help?

Well that sounds like a good solution.

Checking the web-site for all the features is a problem at the moment _http://www.tapfactoryapps.com/WebToolbox, the web-site specifying the features of the app is NOT up and running. I guess I simply have to buy it and see if it is working.
