    Can I add power to camera connection connector?

    I am using the Camera kit for an external MIDI controller & would rather the iPad run off the AC charger. Can I add the connection to the charger to the camera kit connector? I suspect there may be a conflict with the fact that the camera connector provides power to the external device via USB.
