Ipad Project new thread

So basically my ipad fell off my car and wrecked the aluminum housing, im bringing it back to life in a new housing made of acrylic. (see through plastic)

I made a new thread because Have some changes and new ideas but here is the progress. Acrylic is being shipped it's translucent blue, and the ipad out of the aluminum case is being detected by the computer and holding a charge. I soldered the battery to the mother board with some wires and it working out great so far... just waiting for the acrylic and a new LCD come in the mail.

Yes sir this is going to be updated as much as i can. I am going to document this on video too

got the LCD in the mail. it looks beautiful. only one problem the digitalizer doesn't work. i ordered a new one,,, not to worry. the acrylic is coming in the mail still im going to take some good pics of the assembly on it. SO far so good. Oh there's a light from behind the lcd the whole thing is illuminated so i am thinking when its in the transparent case the whole thing is gonna light up blue

No sir, The light is coming from behind the lcd; underneath it. the lcd from the front looks great. I just like the light from the bottom because it will light up the box and give it a cool effect. check out the pictures
