reverting to Paid app in App Store

I recently released Colormixer for iPad in the App Store. It's a deep app that teaches color theory and how to work with color, as well as a creative tool for working with color composition:

Colormixer for iPad on the iTunes App Store

Reading all the hype about 'free,' I decided to release a lite version for free, which is basically an introduction, however, in order for the user to totally 'get' how to use the interface, and learn the whole package, they need to buy the In App upgrade.

My problem is that the app is getting dinged in the ratings, imo because the free users are expecting everything for free, and they are frustrated when they find out that it's not a casual thing they can learn in 5 minutes.

My app is unique, and i'm not afraid to keep it high-end. My question, finally, is, should I take it out of the App Store, and resubmit it as a paid-only app? My marketing effort is just gearing up, so i'm thinking now would be the time to do this. Any thoughts on this?

    regards,
    -David

Absolutely. It's an app of limited appeal and of most use to professionals so I would charge accordingly.
    Good Luck.

Thanks for your response - it confirms my suspicions. Time to turn in an upgrade, and move it into Paid apps.

    regards,
