Have an iPad and love it. I am in the process of upgrading
My phone to a smart phone. What are the advantages of an iPhone
As opposed to a good Samsung.

You really need to do some research on your own to determine what your needs are so you can match them with a suitable device.
Google is your friend for this. Search "smart phone consumer reviews 2012" and you'll produce a considerable menu.

I like Consumer Reports and CNET, but that's a personal preference.

IPhone deffinatly samsung seems to be overated and quite boring, when iphone 3/4 gives you the opprotunity to downald apps, go on internet, and it got an ipod :d

To me, compatibility across iPad and iPhone is the key selling point. But I was willing to trade that for other features on a Samsung Galaxy Note. I still use my 4S along with my Note. They're both good phones. Personal preference is key, so best decide for yourself based on preferences and needs.
