    using Camera connector kit to attach usb mic

    I've acquired a good usb mic to use with the iPad2, attached via the camera connector kit. I know Apple say it doesn't work, but I have several colleagues who use it. I can't figure out how to get the iPad to recognise the mic, and switch from internal mic. Any advice?
