AT&T Edge. Not 3G. Sort of like dial-up on Valium.

Actually, it's not too bad as long as you're not downloading lots of graphics-intensive pages. And it should connect just like it was 3G.

It means you are in a location that doesn't have ATT 3G coverage, but does have the very much slower Edge coverage.
