Ipad and google maps

This is a discussion on Ipad and google maps within the iPad Apps forums, part of the iPad App Store category; Does anyone know when Google maps will be available for the iPad. All I can find is an iPhone app....

    Ipad and google maps

    Does anyone know when Google maps will be available for the iPad. All I can find is an iPhone app.

    There's no way to know. Google has to write it, then Apple has to approve it before it becomes available in the AppStore. In the meantime, the iPhone app is perfectly useable on the iPad.
