Why do you suppose you need battery maintainance? I have not found any need for this.

You do not indicate what has brought about this extreme need for battery maintenance. There are no Apps that will alter the condition of your battery. But there are some Apps that can point you to good habits in battery charging. I use a free App "Battery Doctor +" which correctly suggests to completely discharge/charge at least once a month, keeps records of the extent and timing of your charges gives good hints etc.

As the post above indicates, you do not need to "maintain" the battery. Under normal use your battery is designed to retain up to 80% of its original capacity for over 2 1/2 years on daily charges. If you recharge every 2 days, as I tend to do, you may still be operating your iPad in 5 years time. 😃
