Have finally and permanently dumped Zite after three months. It seems to be a digital offshoot of the Republican loonies, and I find their coverage almost as unbalanced as Faux News.

Flipboard isn't bad; can anyone recommend another left-of=center news feed app?

I think you need to look into which feeds you want and to like the ones that are left of center. To start new Currents is a good app and Flipboard if you choose correctly. Do you read Slate or Huffington Post, new York Times, Washington Post, etc? I get articles from them on all these apps.

Did you never try customizing it? Try turning off the CNN feed...
