Notify also has handwriting recognition and search. Handwriting recognition is a four dollar add on.

I like Notify better it seems to have a lot more options but Phatpad is a good basic note taker.

You might take a look at 7Note HD. It has good handwriting recognition and has search capabilities. Also links to Dropbox.

Notabilityis very nice. Very easy to be used.
