Sorry, I didn't read it properly, unless your still on 4.3.3 then your out of luck with jail breaking, but all is not lost, hopefully we will see a JB for A5 devices soon, until that time I'd get goodreader. I myself used it today to manage my revision, I made folders for each subject then downloaded all the lecture slides and placed them in all the relevent folders all by using goodreader.
I you require any assistance I'll help with what ever I can, and if there's anything I can't help with there's more than enough capable people here who can!

There is a reason I directed the OP and anyone else who reads the thread to the hacking section and the wealth of information stored there.

Apologies for being imprecise. But considering the fact that the iPad 2 was released in March, 2011 and that 4.3.4 appeared only a few months later, purchasers of most iPad 2's including those that happened to have received a jailbreakable version of the OS and then updated their iPads without knowing they should preserve SHSH Blobs. In short, for the great majority of iPad 2 owners, jailbreaking is simply not an option.

I'm not holding my breath. Apple is obviously committed to eliminating jailbreaking. And they're just as obviously getting better at it.

As this thread so aptly states (did you even read it?) - there is no such app for the iPad unless you jail break. Apple has designed the iPad so all it's app (read: programs) are sandboxed in that they cannot access other app files. Thus, the need for jail breaking should you wish to access your files.
Since this question has been asked and answered here - and this post is so old - this thread is closed. Thanks for your understanding.

P.S. I've also deleted you other, duplicate post. One post per question is sufficient (and complies with our rules). Thanks.
