How did it help you? There is one review stating that it is a scam. What movies have you watched?

Hi Markos - welcome to the forum!
Also, my very question - the movies offered seem to be either foreign ones or older films that are likely in the public domain - is there a list somewhere that might help others decide if the app is worth having on their iPad?

Must've done some pretty fast viewing as the app only came out yesterday. >extreme skepticism emoticon<

Hmmm - LOL!
I've not checked on the 'developer' of this app, but just saying -
Not important to me as an OLD B&W movie fan - have 'burned' hundreds to DVDs off the TCM channel from my DVR - all public domain - not great quality but can still watch w/ satisfaction - did a lot of 'foreign films' in my college days, but now at my age I can't stand to read subtitles - will the app succeed?

Not necessarily a "scam," but definitely a bait 'n switch. The films are almost all either public domain old films (some quite good but available from other sources), Indian (bollywood) titles, or very obscure films. The whole idea is to suck you in to purchase a $2.99 app. Nothing I could find was "free."
Not worth it imo (and I love old films) but ymmv. Pretty obvious, I think, that the OP has more than a consumer's interest in the success of the app.

not all of the movies old , will i found like a 100 new movies . 2008 - 2010 .
but man in itunes also old movies are 3-4 USD per one movie , and here are 1700 movies for 3 USD , and i got 12 for free so less then 0.02 USD per movie
SO WHAT EXACTLY ?
