AppShopper is my favourite.
Though clunky to look at AppTickerHD was good but seems flaky on iOS5. I emailed their support some time ago with details of exactly what operation made it crash but didn't even receive an acknowledgement.

I use Appshopper for free apps and updates an AppHits for apps on sale. AppHits has really good explanations of the apps.
