Some Apps won't delete!

I tap and hold on the icon, but it won't appear an X on the upper left side. How can I delete these apps???

If it's a built in app from Apple you can't delete it.

What program are you trying to delete?

If you are trying to get rid of, say, Contacts or iTunes, the best you can do is Jailbreak your iPad, install Categories, and hide the icon.

For example Arcade Saloon game, or iPilot, or aTube, etc.

If you are talking about cracked apps and things you have installed from Cydia, you need to download CyDelete, which makes you able to delete them like you would an app from the iTunes store.

Cool, I didn't know about CyDelete. Just used to do it the ghetto way through Cydia.

I only learned about it when they first broke it, there was some story about the few apps that actually worked with it, and that was one of them. Almost forgot about it until this thread.

open cydia, go to manage and under the app you want to remove there is an uninstall option.
