hi everyone,

does this app support the ability to view, edit and create footnotes? if yes, i will buy it right away! the lack of a footnotes function in Pages is a real pain so if there are apps that offer the missing functionality i'd gladly buy 'em.

Philip, I don't see an option for that when I load a ppt file.

Enuhski, I also don't see a footnotes option, but I don't think I've ever footnoted anything in a file.

thank you! footnoting is important for research and legal writing (which is what i do for a living he he). the lack of it doubles the hassle. i have to be mindful of what i type on the iPad then transfer everything back to my laptop for footnoting. :/

if ever the next update comes with footnotes, please give me a heads up. i would really appreciate it thank you!

Has anyone tried opening excel files with rather complicated formulas with reference to other sheets using quickoffice? Does it work?

I'd like to try this app for the $10 promo price, but when I go to the app store it's listed as $14.99. How do you get the promo price?... does the price update if you actually 'purchase'?

Is this app great with excel? I use spreadsheets all the time with work, would love an app for my ipad were I can use and edit them.

If you use a spreadsheet (ie imported spreadsheet created in excel), this program will not display data filter sort and it also will not display the list function of any cell (ie a cell has a drop down arrow that let's you select from a list of options. It also unmerges merged cells and basically destroys the style you created for your sheet.

Frankly it's not worth the $10 because all the functions it has can easily be achieved with any number of free viewers. Nice name though.........
