    Why not use the regular FB on your browser like most of us do. With the big screen apps aren't needed for most websites.

    Because the website is worse than the apps to try and use. They "improve" both the main and m. site way too often and with each "improvement" there are more bugs and it is less intuitive to use.
    Just my reason for preferring an app
