I'm wondering if anyone knows a good app for sorting names. Specifically what I'm looking to do is be able to drag and drop names above or below other names for sports tryouts.

You could probably do that in almost any spreadsheet app.

Another possibility is Popplet. It would be ideal for this sort of thing. Corckulous would also work and looks cooler than Popplet, if not quite as quick to set up and use.
