Note Taking and Drawing in One App?

I'm coming from the Tablet PC world. One of the things I loved about my tablet was One Note and other apps that let you take notes and add hand drawn diagrams and handwriting to the same document all on the same page together. Has anyone made an app for he iPad that does something like this?

I've been looking, but havent found one yet. I found one that lets you sync with a one note notebook on another computer, but I'm not sure if it allows to create that kind of mixed content directly on the iPad.

There is also "Penultimate" - one of the most popular apps, according to the Appstore.

I recommend also Sundry Notes Pro.

It also lets you embed sound recordings of lectures right on the page that you are taking notes on.

Sundry Notes is the first social note taking application. Write, draw, record and research right within the app - and then share your notes with others.

Take notes right within your application, including:
    * Write text (and change font color, size, etc.)
    * Draw anywhere in your notes
    * Search Wikipedia, Google, and Google Books - and grab images from them for your notes using two fingers
    * Import PDFs from the internet
    * Import images from your photo library
    * Record sound/voice
    * Change page background to graph paper, lined paper, legal paper, etc.

The innovative sharing feature in Sundry Notes means:
    * You can sync your notes on the Amazon Cloud so that even if you lose your iPad, you can get your notes back
    * You can share your notes using Facebook, Twitter, and Google/Picasa
    * You can email your notes as a PDF to yourself or friends
    * You can send notes to your computer to be printed
Oh . . . and it is free.

    Silly question from a-yet-to-get-my-hands-on-my-Pad newbie.

In these drawing programs do you use a stylus or just your finger or...?

    Thanks.

you can use your fingers to "draw & write" however some apps allow u to type on the virtual keyboard or bluetooth keyboard

Penultimate - don't seems to be able to type words but can have nice drawing like strokes that simulate pen

PaperDesk, Note Taker HD I have too...
Always look ahead for new magical things from Apple!

Any other freeware apps that mimic a paper notebook?

I wish the appstore would allow you to filter your searches by price range.

AH...I want to use it when I am working with clients & need to draw an idea out. Hard to believe a big finger can do that....
    Thanks.
