I run a small company of six people and am looking for a fast way of sending them emails and notes from my ipad as opposed to opening a mail client, going through my contact list, typing in the subject and sending the email.

Ideally I would like to see selected names, write my note to them and send.

Sounds like an Instant Messaging service to me. There are several IM clients and services. I don't use one, but I believe AIM is popular. There are tons more.

Everyone will need the same service (though not necessarily the same app) on whatever devices and computers they use.
