Tried to turn the iPad off and on. When I go back it is still frozen. What can I do?

Have you tried rebooting, hold down the on/off bottom and home button together until the silver apple appears on the screen. Next option is to double tap the home button and turn iBooks app off in the task bar at the bottom of the screen.
