I'm having issues selecting the correct mail from a conversation to then forward it :/

I'm using an app that acts as front end to the regular web gmail.

when I try an select a specific received email from a conversation, it sends the whole conversation rather than just the selected mail.
IE. a previous reply to mail is sent in the forwarded mail. this is a bit of a privacy issue for me.

I might be doing it wrong? I'm selecting the mail I want from the conversation by tapping on the mail in the conversation group and expanding it

hi Tim

it's called webmail. think the firm is called code before Dawn or similar.
it's just a more secure way of just using the gmail web view really.
would much prefer s proper mail app but I don't think there are any for gmail
