Unsure now about Instapaper; it seems to only save pages on the device, but at home i'm on the iMac, and I wanted to save it from there (for later on the iPad).

Yeah, on a PC, you can set up a link (like a bookmark) so you can just click on it to save to Instapaper. Should be the same on a Mac ... (?).
