Perhaps wait for a release of Real Racing 2 HD that supports 1080p out?
The current version available in the AppStore is 1.02 and has been released before the announcement of a version which supports 1080p out.
You might check your TV's options. It may have a viewing options like, stretch, fill, crop, or whatever.
real racing 2 is comeing out with 1080p soon. Till then I have been going to my tv settings and do. Pan zoom fills most of tv screen .
I believe iPad is 4:3 so there may always be bars for the HDMI reflection.
Not with the next update of RR2, as it will have 1080p output over HDMI. In that mode the game doesn't get displayed on the iPad screen at all, part from controls, so the game is able to use a different format.Originally Posted by island.guy
The same technique is already used for video apps, movies etc. play in Widescreen format, so it is just a matter of time, before games start to do the same.
Do any of you know the date of that real racer will go 1080p.
