What particular characteristics were you looking for? Wouldn't Apple's 'Pages' do the job? Multi-column format. Easily embedded graphics and tables. Export and email in MS Word or PDF format. In-app printing support via AirPrint.

Hi,
Is there a possibilty in Pages to use different layouts in one document? I.e. à front page, then a number of defaults pages in a different layout. The different layouts should compose one document.

It's not a problem. To do this you need to select the text you want the different layout format to apply to and then go and apply, say, double-column layout. The chosen layout will then apply only to the selected text.
So, for example, you could have the first page in single column format and the second page in double column format. A new document starts, by default, in single column format. But when you've typed the second page, simply select the text on that page that you want in the new format and apply - say - double column, or whatever other style attribute you're looking for - perhaps right justified etc.
I've probably not explained this very well but, if there's a problem either get back or have a look in the Apple Pages Help section...

You'll find Help there for Pages, Numbers and Keynote.
