What blue tooth GPS? To my knowledge, there is only one that works with the an unjailbroken iPad BT Stack: GNS 5870 MFI Bluetooth GPS Receiver for iPad - iPad GPS Receivers - iPad Forums Store
I use MotionX GPS Drive HD on my iPad, but I have the 3G version so I don't worry about any kind of puck. The app is great, nonetheless. I know this doesn't answer your question, but we need more info.
Sorry about that, I have a j/b ipad and am awaiting this receiver Visiontac VGPS-700.
An update to this thread.
I received the visiontac gps receiver. It came with a wall charger, car charger, and a battery backup emergency charger. The unitnitself is about the size of a zippo lighter. Using roqybt, I was able to sync it up to the iPad with no problem.
The one drawback is that MotionX Drive will not download to a non 3G iPad. I ended up buying Navigon, which I found to have a more robust, if not more cluttered interface. The price point made me pause, but in the end I am extremely pleased.
