I've been using CineXPlayer for a month now and it works fine for me. I use SUPER to convert vids to xvid.
I don't have a jb iPad but I am using vlc on my iPhone as well as iPad 2, I downloaded it in iTunes long ago for iPhone, but it's now removed from AppStore, I had downloaded it earlier so I am still able to use itOriginally Posted by iPad100
You will have to look for other options

Does anyone know which app mentioned here (except VLC) has loop and hopefully also AB-loop feature?
Thanks!

I'm an AV player user myself, which works really well except for the appalingly unstable file transfer. Supposedly you can http or ftp to it in accept mode, but it crashes way too often during transfer, and the peak rate is only 1mb/s.
Playback is excellent, but what should I use for reliable transfer? you can always use the open in feature once you have your file on the device....

Ok, found out that using ifiles I can connect to my iPad as a WebDAV device and then open the files with the open in option. Still just as slow, but at least it is reliable, and you can even send ifiles to the background and it will keep transferring (WebDAV obviously let's you do more than one file at a time as well).
Sent using iPF on my 64GB wifi iPad 2 - w00t!
How am I like the only person who brings up XBMC as the most amazing player for the iPad? I don't get it. Sure its interface sucks because its not optimized for touch, but it streams flawlessly off of network shares and can play HD mkv files flawlessly which no other player can do.
Don't you have to be JB to use XBMC, or no?
Oh, Cool! I was right. Thanks!![]()
