    MS Word or Wordprocessing App?

    Hi,

I've been playing with my neighbor's iPad this weekend.

I'm look at an iPad as a possible replacement for my netbook that I use for traveling. I write while I'm on the road so I'm looking for a word processing app or MS Word capability. Anyone know anything or have any recommendations in this department?

    Thanks for any help.

Apparently you are new to the iPad. First let me welcome you here.

I'd suggest you get iTunes software and explore that. You'll find lots of information. And you can go to to the Apple site and watch the videos.

The first word proccessor to get is "Pages". It readily handles some Word capabilities. Then get to discover "Keynote", it has some layout capabilities.

But as you are a writer, I think the iPad may impose you some limits on usability and size.
    Good luck!
