AGREED! And I think that Mr. Jobs is going to have to realize that sooner or later. He allows owners of the brand new MacAirBook decide for themselves whether or not to install Flash, WHY should an iPad be any different? WE own it after all... it should be the decision of the owner, not the manufacturer, of the iPad that decides what is installed.
I have been really supprised...there are so many sites that use YouTube or formats other than flash. I really dont even miss it anymore..... Also, I'm tired of updating my PC with endless random updates from adobe.

Be sure and check out iphone4forum.net! For anything iPhone..
Me over on the other side...
There are at least three different ways to do Flash on the iPad (SkyFire, Cloud Browse, using a VNC program into your desktio/laptop, none of which kill your battery iife as the heavy lifting is done away from your iPad.
The success of the iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch means that Flash will be a non-issue soon anyway, no wen site in its right mind is going to ignore hundreds of millions of potential users. The only sites that still use Flash will be corporate sites that move very slowly, look at how many still use IE6.
if you are on can.com-click on videos and then use there "beta mode" i've been able to watch videos using it.
This thread is almost a year old since the previous post and we have many, many threads about flash.......so this one is now closed.Originally Posted by DICKNPHYL
