I don't know why it would just because it is displaying 4 simultaneous iPod size screens instead of one full size screen? It may take slightly more memory, but the biggest battery hog in the iPad is keeping that screen lit up.

I haven't experienced this so far. I think 1991-c4 is right.

The memory consumption actually depends a lot on what type of webpages are loaded.

Sounded like a good app. purchased it.

Stupid question: I got it to open 3 windows, however i see no way of closing the windows. Even if I select two windows, the "second" windows displays the thrid one.

How do you close down the windows. I can select 4 and it goes to four, and then click to open 2, but that third stays there,

Hi Guntherm,

The attached picture shows how to control the number of windows. Basically there are always 4 but you can expand one or more of them and cover some of the rest.

If there are 3 windows and you want to reduce it to 2, just enlarge one of the smaller windows and let it cover half of the screen.

Version 1.2.1 was just released yesterday. In this version you can enter texts in the forums.

In the mean time, the next version (1.2.2) was submitted to the App Store (Now it takes about 11 days to get reviewed.) The 1.2.2 update has some big improvements and will provide a much better web experience.

Nice to see the updates.
I have found this app nice in some key uses.

Not an everyday app for me, but when the right needs arise,
It has been very useful.

Can images be opened in Side by Side from Dropbox? Unlike pdfs, the only export option for jpgs/pngs/etc. in Dropbox seems to be save to photos
