They released it on july the 28th. It fortunately supports my wide format 11x17. An interesting particularity is the support for the scanner. Scans are saved to PDF that means seeing them in iBooks.

Printing looks limited to photo though but possible in 8 1/2 x11.

Only supports inkjet printers and only prints pictures according to some of the reviews. The features list only mentions pictures, although there are lots of sizes mentioned. Surely they would not release a print app that only prints pictures!?!

Yes, it only prints jpegs or whatever you can get into Photos.

Scanning works well. It finds what there is to scan on the platter automatically, no resizing necessary. It then asks you what to do with the scan, where I want to send it. Photos, email as jpeg, email as PDF or send PDF to open. In the choices, my iPad had iBooks, Stanza, Goodreader and AirSharing HD.

Contact with the printer and scanner is quick. Output as clean as with the attached PC.

Still, this app's purpose is a mystery. No serious work can be done with this. You can't even print a Pages document, not even mail or the clipboard's content.
