As the original post announcing MailShot doesn't seem to be here any more, it seems fair to post again to let you know about the new update released this week
MailShot Pro takes a unique approach to sending email. Instead of forcing users to use its own email program to send to a group, it creates special group contacts that send email to an entire group, but appear like a regular contact within most apps,. These special contacts can be used to email groups of family or friends, classes, work or sports teams with ease. In addition to the convenience this brings, it makes MailShot the only easy way to do a number of essential things on iPhone or iPad, such as forwarding an email with attachments to a group of people, or send group email from Siri.
Peter Johnson, Soluble’s founder and Lead Developer said: “We wanted to do something special to celebrate the fantastic success that MailShot Pro has been having on the App Store over the past year. Once it is set up, MailShot makes sending to groups as seamless as if it was built in, and it is great to be able to extend this ability to larger groups with this new update. We know that some will also find it convenient to be able to use these MailShot group contacts from Mail on their Macs for the first time, too.”
