Start with the file you want to email. For example, say you want to email a picture from Photos. Go to Photos, open the picture, and tap on the icon that is an arrow swooping to the right from a file. You will get a list of things you can do with that photo, including email it. If you select Email photo, it will drop the photo into a blank email message that you can complete and send.

As long as the app that holds the file supports email, you can send any file on your iPad this way. If the app does not support email directly, you may have to find a way to move it to one that does. Goodreader is often helpful here.

Hope this answered your question. Let us know if you need more help with a specific type of file or app.

Thanks for your above information, I know that, but you can not attach more than 1 file or attach other files together.

My workaround for this is to place the files in DropBox. Once in DropBox you can generate links which can be copy/pasted into the email. Obviously, using this solution you are not directly copying the files into your email but the recipient can download them at their leisure (the added bonus to this method is that if they are mobile when they receive the email they initially are only downloading a small email and can choose to wait until wifi connected to download the attachments).
