    i am new to the apple world i just bought an ipad 2,and i was wondering if apps go on sale for thanks giving as well?

    You might want to go to the appshopper.com website or get the appshopper app from the App Store. It does a good job of keeping track of apps that are on sale.

    But yes, typically there are a lot of Thanksgiving sales on the App store.
