iPad Fan!
Great news! I use DV on my iPhone and love it. Was thinking about getting if for my iPad but I guess this means I can update to the new version and use it on both, right?

Hi Ellen,
That is correct, a user can install DataVault Password Manager on up to 5 authorized iPads, iPhones and iPod Touches at no additional cost. Simply sign into iTunes with the account you used to purchase DataVault, go to the DataVault description page, click on "Buy App". You will be alerted that you have already purchased the app so you can download it for free.
Best,
Marc

Does it import from Lastpass?

Hi nanohits,
Lastpass offers 2 options to export data, text file or direct to Firefox.
You can use DataVault for Windows to import the LastPass text file by selecting Tools > Import > CSV > Custom, then select "Text file *.txt" from the drop-down and assign fields as in the screen shot below. Alternatively, you could export from Lastpass to Firefox and import from Firefox to DataVault. For more information, see Importing Items in the DataVault user guide.
If you have any problems, please send me a pm or email.
Best,
Marc

Looks good, probably would be interested if there was a Linux client available (I don't associate Windows with security). Can this sync with a web client for non Windows/Mac users?

iPad Noob!
I'm trying to switch over from SplashID. I've downloaded and installed DataVault for windows v4.5.3. When I go to Tools > Import > SplashID... (or CSV > SplashID... for that matter), the program crashes. Any thoughts?

You need open SplashID and set the password to blank, then quit before importing into DataVault for Windows.
Please see the section on importing from text files and 3rd party application in our user guide. If you have any problems, please send me a pm or email.
Best,
Marc
