Why did you choose to cover the ambient light sensor?

That is only for the Samples but we changed that and now they will all have a small hole so that the ambient sensor is not covered.

I was actually looking for a snap-on ipad case (like the dodocase) rather than slide-in, but this one has me pretty much sold by the ways it can be positioned.

It needs a handle so that you dont have to carry it under your arm.

This case looks exactly like what I had in mind as a stand for my iPad - I love the different angles for viewing. I'm going to wait till I can read reviews and see actual pictures of one before I order. I'm wondering how much weight it will add to the iPad, and how bulky it is. From the video, it seems pretty bulky, but it's really hard to tell.

I would have been tempted to order one immediately except that I just got an email this morning from apple notifying me that the case I ordered from them was shipped.

If you were going to order this, I would consider ordering anyhow. You will be VERY disappointed in the Apple iPad case.

I wish we had a for sale section here that I could sell my Apple Case, it's been just sitting around collecting dust.

Actually, I already have the Apple case for my iPad, the new one is for my husband. I'm not that disappointed with it, it certainly makes the iPad easier to hold with it on - my issue is that I use my iPad on my lap most of the time and having the ability to position it at different angles, and not have to hold it, would be a major plus.

I'm conflicted now about returning the Apple case and ordering this one and waiting a few
weeks for it. Guess I'll run it by my husband and see how he feels about waiting for me to
get a new one so I can hand down my Apple case to him. He just got his iPad last week so
he doesn't have any experience yet with the case.

The dock is what I would sell in a heartbeat because it isn't usable with the iPad in a case.
