I received the gold metal SlickWrap for my wife's ipad1 over the weekend. (I already had the black patent leather SlickWrap on my iPad2). The wrap applied fairly easily though it took a couple of tries to line up the back side evenly over the black apple logo. (You can leave it all gold if you want to). The metallic wrap is quite thin but has a nice textured feel to it and provides an excellent scratch resistant surface to protect your iPad surfaces. My wife really likes her Targus folio type case so the wrap is thin enough to still fit easily into the case.
In summary, this is an excellent wrap to protect your iPad but without adding any bulk. It also makes for an excellent appearance like the other wraps already described in this thread. Personally, I prefer the leather wraps for the iPad 2 since I don't use a folio type case. In any event, you can't go wrong with this company. Great products and great service.

I have the silver carbon-fibre wrap. Thanks so much to SlickWraps. I didn’t know if I’d like this colour, but it’s nice and my wife likes it. If I buy one, I’d look at something like leather or some darker colour. Unfortunately, it came with a small scratch on the back. (I’ll post a photo later.)
I love this product, such as the way its smart looks and how it protects. I watched the web site video with the fireworks set off on the iPad with SlickWrap. It’s obviously a solid, strong product.
I watched the installation video, which is a great idea. You don’t really need the installation video because the installation is quite simple. The wrap applies easily (I pre-bent the wrap as was suggested here) and it fits perfectly. The pre-cut holes for the camera and the buttons help you to position the wrap precisely. Be careful as you place the wrap into position. It would be helpful to have someone help you position the wrap, as once it touches the iPad’s surface, it sticks. Once installed, I removed the wrap and reinstalled it; it was as slick (pardon the pun) as was the initial installation. There was no sticky remains were on the iPad’s surface after I removed the wrap.
The texture and feel of the wrap are nice and the wrap makes the iPad look and feel even classier than it is. It doesn’t affect the fit of the Smart Cover. The wrap is actually the same my Smart Cover’s colour. I would have preferred a contrasting colour, but this is nice also.
The best part of the wrap is that I know if I bump it, spill something on it or have some other mishap, the covered part is protected. I no longer have to worry about scratching up the iPad’s rear surface. I now need to find something to protect the screen.
Good job, SlickWrap. I’ll recommend this product to friends who have an iPad.

Sorry for the delay but I was on vacation. So I install my Maple Wood Slickwraps today. Like all the others reviews, the package was well protected.
My review will be a little diffrent beause I already have a Slickwraps skin on my iPad 2. So I try to remove it so I can reinstall it later.
I begin by removing my previus Slickwraps. It wasn't has easy has I was thinking. The front was easy but the back was difficult. I don't think I'll be able to keep it to reinstall it. After the removing, I look at my iPad and found no damage at all. Slickwraps do the job for protecting my precious.
The installation is not very hard, you have to take your time and use a guide on the iPad, I use the camera on the back and the home button on the front. I really like the this wood Slickwraps, it add more grip as my previus one (stanless steel). I also like the color as it fit my blue smart cover. If rť looking for a great skink that will protect your iPad, Slickwraps is for you.
Here are 2 pics of the previus Slickwraps that I try to remove.
