Sorry, but it doesn't look that good to me. I prefer an Adonit Jot or iFaraday---the former fr handwriting, the atter for mre general se.

Need to add Just Mobile's Alupent. Looks like a big crayon but writes so smoothly. Good weight, feel.

I use my ipad for meetings, and after reading reviews here and in other forums, I went on a mad stylii buying rampage. As a result, I currently have : the ifaraday rxii, the adonit jot pro, the zoogue(free) and the caseen vibe. I also have the free stylus that comes with the Ozaki case, but I do not use it at all as it is the length of my little finger and almost useless except for the most casual of tasks.

I tend to use noteshelf for jotting down notes/ ideas/ doodling etc.

The Caseen Vibe is too short and now belongs to my wife. The tip is also slightly squishy.

The Zoogue, I am told is similar to the Wacom in terms of writing ability. I used it once but I am not too fond of the rubber on glass feel, so it now sits in the drawer. I am debating whether to buy the Bamboo.

I switch between the Jot and the rx2 when I feel like it, with the RX being my go to stylus for the past month.

The Jot is brilliant for precise writing, on noteshelf, I am able to write without using the magnifying function at all. For drawing, it works as well, and the customer service is second to none. Had to change the disc and they send me replacements. It is, however, not so intuitive/ comfortable if you use it for day to day tasks, like tapping on apps/ games etc. Writing feels like using a sharp nib pen on a glass table, but very smooth, and it glides nicely. It is also very nicely designed/ built and feels/ looks expensive.

The ifaraday rx2 is more of a generalist than the specialist that is the Jot Pro. It writes well, extremely smooth, but I need to use the magnifying function in noteshelf for accurate writing. Everything else, drawing, day to day is effortless. The tip is nice and firm, not squishy and just feels....nice. Unfortunately, it looks cheap. Plastic cap and plastic body, although nicely weighted. So, more function then form, but it is an independent operation.

These are pretty much my exact feelings too. I have many but my 2 go-to's are my iFaraday RX2 and my Adonit Jot Pro. Love them both! For notes/writing the Jot Pro is perfect - I use it in Notability, Note Taker HD and Penultimate - perfect! The RX2 is great also just not as exact as the Jot, great feel though - no drag when writing, don't have to apply pressure, fits nice in my hand.

Yes, but there is always a new stylus/ note app around the corner to try / buy in the hope of achieving writing nirvana!

I'll chime in by agreeing totally with the last couple of comments: iFaraday for general purpose and Jot for precise handwriting.

I, too, waste a lot of dough by trying new styluses.

By the way, there seem to be a lot of newer ones coming out with tips made of carbon nanofiber. I suspect that is what the iFaraday uses. I just ordered one that has it, claims a quarter inch tip, is retractable, and looks nicer than the iFaraday. But, I will have to wait and see.

I have a couple that use the NanoFabric, just bought one last week (yes, another one). What I have found, or what it feels like, is that the other 2 that I have seem to be hollow-tipped and the iFaraday seems to be full of something/not hollow so applying pressure isn't needed. The other 2 I seem to have to apply more pressure and sometimes squeak when I write or skip. I was hoping that I would like them because of the looks - they're retractable, nice looking design, etc - but I just can't seem to get a long with them.

Aha! I didn't realize the tip is hollow! The iFaraday definitely is not---it has a small cylinder of some kind of soft rubbery material inside with a hemispherical tip. And you are right: the iFaraday seems to be what I always fall back to after each brief affair with a passing fancy!
