    HDMi Connecter for iPad 2

    I understand there's a new HDMi connecter made for the iPad
    I understand It's a great concept, but I want to know this;
    If I hook up the iPad to this laptop, and say I'm streaming the things that appear on my monitor, will It continue streaming or would the other programs on the actual computer just stop?
    I have Sketchbook Pro but I want to know If I could also view It on the moniter.
    I know this could be solved If I had more monitors, but I do not have that nor money for It at my disposal.

    I don't really understand your question? You cannot stream video to a laptop unless the laptop has an hdmi input. Monitors and tv's yes, but laptops have hdmi output not input.

    HDMI connector: iPad -> external display (with HDMI input) as beamer, TV's etc. IF you should happen to have a HDMI Input on your Laptop (which I actually doubt) you could use the video signal, but this depends on your Laptop, not on the iPad or HDMI connector - same as what other programs would do...

    Well, it is about IN- and OUTputs; laptops usually do not have an HDMI input.
