I have a Targus stylus that I bought at Best Buy. It's short, too light.....like trying to write with a stubby pencil. Definitely not my favorite iPad accessory.

So...the only styus that works with the iPad is the kind with the rounded end? Bummer.
The Wacom Bamboo Stylus Is the smallest rubber tip type stylus, and is long and quite comfy to hold. It is $30 at Best Buy. It has replacement nibs (tips), but they are hard to find. At least the stylus is still good after the first is worn out.
It want to try the Jot, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I keep hearing good things about it...

The ends wear out? Is this true of all styluses? It never occurred to me.Originally Posted by skallal
To be fair, I have a Zagg screen protector on another tablet, which creates more friction. In fact the stylus squeaks. Now I'm using the new iPad wo/ any protector, and the stylus moves much easier. I'll have to see how the stylus holds up better wo/ a protector.
I also had a Targus stylus wear out...

I'm very curious about all the pressure sensitive styli.
like JaJa Pressure Sensitive Stylus , Jot Touch | Adonit and Declassified: Blue Tiger
Although I also like the iPen approach allowing for a narrow tip. It isn't pressure sensitive.
They're all a bit pricey though.

Hey all I'm Ben I just joined I wanted to say I've spent countless hours and money (have the recipts to prove it)researching the best stylists out there for the iPad and The clear winner by far is the jot pro. Only downside is that it's best if you don't use a screen protector.

Here is yet another shameless plug for the Wacom Bamboo Stylus:
I had recently misplaced my Bamboo Stylus, went to Best Buy a to get another one. They were a
l sold out. The sales guy said the sell as soon as they come in he even pulled his out of this pocket. Best Buy used to have them in stock all the time. But since the new iPad came out, the stylus has been hard to come by. Luckily I found it my stylus!
I think it is the best of the rubber tip styluses. I want to give the Jot and some other types a try...

I agree that it is the best for HANDWRITING. For all around use, including punching virtual keys, the best is iFaraday.Originally Posted by Secrectagentman
