    WiFi flash storage for ipad

    hi guys. Anybody using wifi flash storage for their ipads?
    Eg: Kingston Wi-Drive Wireless Flash Storage

    Any recommendations on a similar product?

    Hi there.

    I just bought the seagate wifi hard drive. Seems to work great! ~$200. Worth it for 500G of storage

    I also have the Seagate wifi Goflex Satellite - 500gb storage, works great with iPad and iPhone

    Is it true that you have to disconnect from wifi in order to use it?

    Yes, it has a wifi of its own so you are not connected to your 'home' wifi whilst you are running the Seagate but I don't see it as a problem.

    FWIW Hitachi G-Technology's G-Connect Wi-Fi Storage allows simultaneous streaming to the iPad along with Internet connectivity for up to five devices. It's past due for release and some online retailers are taking orders now so it should be available soon.
