I suspect that the answer is probably 'no'. As you point out, there have been several threads discussing the use of existing webcams with the iPad but, as far as I'm aware, there are no products specifically designed for it. Given that the iPad2 now has a web cam it seems unlikely that anyone would consider it worthwhile.

I don't think there's a native device driver on iOS for an external camera, hence it will not work, regardless of whatever third-party camera you use.
